Read the Board of Directors’ response to the recent Bodhi Community Survey.
Dear Bodhi Community,
For sixteen years we have offered community gathering experiences through Sunday Celebration Services, classes, workshops, small groups, volunteering and live events. We have existed to Reveal Love, Honor All Paths, and Celebrate Life. We have impacted thousands of people in Chicago and far beyond. Bodhi has served as a launching pad for many entrepreneurs, healers, artists, organizers, and community leaders that are now influencing our world in prolific ways. We recently heard of our powerful and positive impact from many of you in response to our Community Survey.
We were inspired by your love and appreciation for Bodhi.
With the evolution of culture, society, and community platforms combined with the feedback we recently received from our Community Survey we have determined that Bodhi Center’s work as an organization has been accomplished. Our Community Survey indicated a strong desire to reestablish our Sunday Celebration Service and while we too enjoyed that weekly gathering space for so many years there is not corresponding financial and leadership support to organize that effort. With that in mind we have determined it is time we dissolve the Bodhi Center entity.
Our influence and work lives on in you.
Our Sunday talks will continue to be made available across all podcasting platforms and our YouTube channel. We encourage you to listen or watch whenever you’re seeking inspiration as a reminder of the brilliance that lives in you and as a call for the unique contribution you are to offer humanity.
As we move forward you will find Bodhi alive and well in the leaders and communities that have formed through Bodhi. We encourage you to support the many communities and leaders that we love. Here is an initial list of incredible sources that may be accessed online, in person, or both.
