We are amidst great shifts in our local, national, and global societies. These shifts and transitions may feel deeply unsettling. And yet, I am wildly optimistic. I am encouraged by the discomfort humanity has called forward. The disruption that is occurring in nearly every community, organization, and industry is an indication that an evolutionary consciousness is emerging. Discomfort produces profound creativity and innovation. Something new is forming.
For most of us, discomfort is still the primary mobilizer or motivator. As my friend and teacher Michael Beckwith famously says, “pain pushes until vision pulls”. With this in mind, I am inspired by the continued vision for Bodhi that is pulling us forward. Bodhi’s work remains increasingly relevant and accessible for people seeking ways to live more consciously. The human experience involves ongoing change in our careers, relationships, finances, and health. Bodhi is a place that offers resources to support that growth and change. Our community attracts incredible leaders and influencers that are contributing to essential paradigm shifts through the practice of radical responsibility, curiosity, emotional intelligence and candor. Knowing the importance of our work I am asking you to make a special gift of support during these shifting times.
As we prepare for the move of our physical space in early fall, we are redesigning our programs and offerings to be increasingly friendly for digital users. Our large group experiences will be more transferrable for those that engage with us via platforms like iTunes and SoundCloud, and our classes and workshops are being developed into micro learning experiences more readily available in digital spaces. You have told us that you want easier, more digestible content to enjoy and share. We hear you, and we are working on it!
